I can relate to the difficulties of learning a new language because I've been there! I moved to the US and learned English when I was twelve years old then moved back to France and perfected my French when I was eighteen. My goal is to help you achieve your goals with the language; whether it be to learn conversational French or simply pass your level 1 class because it's a requirement. I am here for you! In the past, my complaint with language teachers has been the language barrier, either they have a thick accent when speaking English or they're really not that well-versed in the language they are teaching. This won't be an issue for us as I am perfectly bilingual and can transition at your pace from conversations spoken 99% in English to conversations using progressively more French. I can also help with and teach high-school and college level grammar, conjugations, and sentence structure in a way that makes sense to a native English speaker.
I was a French teaching assistant for two years in a California high school during which I helped students with speaking, listening, conjugation, and culture appreciation. I graduated from that school with a score of 5 on the AP French 5 exam. As an adult, I spent one year going to school in Paris which helped perfect my knowledge of the written language.
