I am a graduate student at San Diego State University working on a Master of Science in Physics. In my most recent position, I worked as an adjunct physics faculty member at Cuyamaca Community college. My thesis research, in collaboration with Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, focused on improving finite volume solvers for on locally refined grids.

I have ADHD. Before changing majors to physics, I was an Elementary/Early-Childhood Education major for two years, so I have some formal educational background in pedagogical theory. Additionally, I have held several educational occupations over the past six or so years which have afforded me extensive experience with children of all age groups and ability types. In these capacities, I was often given students with ADD since I worked well with them.
