My name is teacher Catherine. I am here to help you navigate this experience. I am a mom, a teacher, and support for you and your children. With a Masters in Education and 8+ years of online tutoring experience, I can help you. My name is teacher Catherine and one of the highest honors I have had is teaching a boy in China for several years. I got to meet my student at the New York Stock Exchange and watch him win 10000 Yuen the top speaking prize in an English Speaking Contest. I've been teaching online since 2012.

I am certified in Project-Based Learning and I not only tutor your child but ENGAGE them in learning. I trained with two of educations leading visionaries Geoffrey Canada and Ron Clark. We learn by doing. I started my career as a business major. After selling my very successful business I decided in 2009 to pursue my passion by earning another degree in Elementary Education. I hold dual certifications in elementary and middle school and also am a certified gifted and talented program teacher. I specialize in project-based learning and technology in the classroom. I have also done extensive PSAT and SAT tutoring. I have worked with many diverse cultures and students of many different backgrounds. I left full-time teaching so that I could homeschool my two daughters through middle school. I help students find their intrinsic motivation. I believe the successful student must be able to articulate their thoughts through vivid and clear writing.
