I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Literature/Writing from the University of California, San Diego in 2013. During my undergraduate studies, I completed intensive writing workshops and English literature courses that emphasized literary analysis, academic research, and essay composition. At the same time, I worked as a writing facilitator and English tutor for several on-campus programs, including the Preuss School, Upward Bound, and the Office of Academic Support and Instructional Services. These experiences strengthened my editing and proofreading skills while allowing me to build strong relationships with middle school, high school, and incoming college students.
In addition to my studies in English, I pursued advanced coursework in both Spanish and French. I minored in Spanish Literature and completed several French literature courses, conducting literary analysis, research, and academic writing in both languages at the college level.
A few years later, I earned a Bilingual Single Subject Teaching Credential from San Diego State University, specializing in English Language Arts and English as a Second Language. This credential also includes a bilingual authorization in Spanish. I subsequently completed a Master of Arts in French, with a concentration in modern French literature, at Middlebury College. As part of this program, I studied abroad in Paris, where I completed advanced literature courses at Sorbonne Université and the Middlebury School in France.
Throughout my career, I have accumulated extensive experience in education in both the United States and Europe. Over the past decade, I have held positions as an English and Spanish teacher, as an English language assistant, and as an English, Spanish, and French tutor in the USA, Spain, and France. I have worked with students in elementary school, middle school, high school, and college.
