Physics and Math instructor with PhD in Mechanical Engineering

Hi, My name is Amir and glad to be here.

I enjoy learning, teaching and applying physical concepts in my life, everyday! With a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and more than 20 years of experience in teaching/ tutoring Physics, Math and Engineering courses, I keep my tutoring sessions efficient, dynamic and pleasant for my students. As an Engineer working in Tech/Semiconductor industry, I learned how to share my knowledge with others, learn from them and celebrate team achievements.

I started to teach physics by helping my classmates at high school to understand physics. Physics and Math were my favorite topics since then which led me to choose Mechanical Engineering as my professional career. I hold my Bachelor, Master and PhD degrees all in Mechanical Engineering. Through this process I always have enjoyed teaching and tutoring my students and celebrated with them their achievements.

I was a national semifinalist of Physics Olympiad in Iran during my high school. I entered to one of the best technology based universities in Iran with full scholarship due to my very high rank in entrance exam which required a extensive knowledge of Physics and Mathematics. During my undergraduate program I passed several courses offered by physics department and I enjoyed learning more and more about Physics. I started to tutor other students in Physics since 2002 and continue to stay on top on new materials and educational methods till now.
