Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Science Tutor

Hello! My name is Susannah. I have a Bachelor's in Biology/Chemistry from Oregon State University and a Masters in Public Health Epidemiology from the Oregon Health and Science University. I have been tutoring on Wyzant for a few years now, focusing on epidemiology, biostatistics, biochemistry and writing support.

I absolutely love teaching and helping people reach their academic goals. I understand how hard and overwhelming learning can be and how sometimes you have to look outside the classroom for help. Learning is a collective journey and I want to be as supportive as people have been to me. It's difficult balancing everything life throws at you and so I would be honored to step in and help alleviate the stress. I promise I can break down large concepts into digestible pieces which is important for those complex mechanisms, pathways, and associations that are found in science.

I have a lot of experience in both public health and biochemistry, along with anatomy and physiology. I work hard to stay up to date on those subjects and refresh frequently. I also have experience with technical science writing and would be willing to help compile papers, protocols, or manuscripts.
