I also graduated magna cum laude from the University of Colorado, Denver with a Master's degree in criminal justice. I was a TEFL teacher in Peace Corps in Ukraine from 2009 to the end of 2011. I love to teach because I learn just as much from my students as they do from me. I have experience teaching children as young as five and adults as old as 60. I love creating lesson plans that involve new, exciting, and fun ways to learn!
I feel that I would be a great tutor for students needing help with ESL, English conversation, reading, writing, grammar, history, literature, geography, psychology, and criminal justice. I am also TESOL certified. I am very personable, and I pride myself on being able to relate to just about everyone on one level or another. I am well organized, punctual, and I do every job with the best of my abilities. I have great communication and leadership skills. I want to build my student’s self-esteem and confidence through fun and educational activities in a friendly, non-discriminating, supportive atmosphere that respects their opinions and encourages questions.
I have over seven years experience teaching these subjects to students all over the world! I create my own lesson plans that are tailored to each student's individual needs. I have just as much fun creating lesson plans as I do teaching. This means that I come to every lesson excited to teach!
My main goal is to make learning fun and enjoyable. I believe there is nothing better than a student who is excited to learn, and as a tutor, it is part of my job to create this environment. It is also very important to me that I help my students understand how important education is so that they can have endless possibilities in the future! I want to build my student’s self-esteem and confide
