Summer is such a great tutor! After having lessons for a few months with her, my understanding of Biology has greatly improved as well as my writing skills. Summer is very proficient in Biology and knows how to tackle various assignments ASAP; all assignments that Summer helped me with received A’s from my IB Biology teacher. Before working with Summer, I struggled to write in a straightforward and informative manner, however, after working with Summer for a few lessons both myself and my teacher noticed a significant improvement in my writing skills. With each succeeding lesson, I have learned to answer similar difficult questions in an academic manner and be able to receive high scores from my teacher(s). I would definitely recommend Summer as a Biology and writing tutor since she tutors according to your learning speed and ability and knows at which degree a student should aim for success.

I spent the whole day yesterday trying to figure out how interneurons work, with no luck. I did a lesson with Summer for 75 minutes, and she explained the basic concepts in a clear and concise manner. After my lesson, I feel much more confident in my knowledge of the topic I brought to tutoring: how interneurons function. Summer taught me about: interneurons circuits - how interneurons modulate the activity of other neurons in the CNS. We also talked about: electrical synapses VS chemical synapses, and some general neuroscience physiology.
