I am a graduate student, currently substituting, looking to fill some of my free time tutoring. I have been working in the field of education for some time now. For the past three years I have been working specifically at a charter school assisting a diverse range of students in grades 5-8th. I have a two degrees, a B.A. in Liberal Studies as well as a M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction. I am currently finishing the last step to earning my credential to become an Elementary School teacher....

Tutoring is a great opportunity because not only is it a passion of mine to help others but I also love having the opportunity to help others see what they are capable of. I also enjoy tutoring because unlike working in the classroom, you gain a better opportunity to work with the students one-on-one and build positive relationships, which I believe really helps the student succeed as well.
