Hello, I'm Alex S. I am a patient and understanding tutor who is committed to helping students succeed. With an academic background in logic and system (MS '12 in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University) and a background in Economics (2010), I provide test preparation strategies for the SAT, ACT, GRE, Advanced/AP Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, Statistics, and more.

Drawing on my extensive experience teaching at the college and university level, I go beyond standard tutoring by building sustainable, problem-solving strategies to optimize your academic and test-taking success.

I do not complete graded assignments, quizzes, or exams on behalf of students; instead, we work through similar problems to grasp the underlying concepts.

If that sounds like the right fit, I'd love to set up something. Feel free to send your materials beforehand but no obligation.

If a strategic, results-driven approach aligns with your goals, I invite you to book a lesson today.

Great Microeconomics Tutor.

We had a wonderful experience with Alex for college-level microeconomics. He is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and caring. He helped my son understand challenging concepts by using clear, relatable examples that made concepts much easier to grasp. My son felt supported throughout each session, and I appreciated his support. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a microeconomics tutor. Thank you!

Alex S. is a really helpful and understanding tutor for statistics. He always asked me if I had any questions or if I was confused about a certain topic. We walked through different problems, and he explained how to solve them clearly. I would definitely recommend him to others who are struggling with statistics topics.
