I have been using MatLab for over 20 years for a variety of theoretical and data analysis tasks. I have extensive experience with the base program and the following toolboxes: digital signal processing, curve fitting, statistics, and image processing.

Prealgebra is the foundation upon which higher mathematics is based. A thorough understanding of prealgebra will make learning more advanced math much easier. My BA in mathematics qualifies me to teach this subject.

In addition to having taken a course in mathematical statistics as an undergraduate, I use statistics on a daily basis to plan and analyze physics experiments; I am thus able to tutor statistics on both theoretical and practical terms.

Trigonometry

I have a BA in physics and math (double major), and a PhD in physics. I use trigonometry all the time in both my physics activities and in my teaching activities. Trig is especially important in the study of mechanics, so a clear understanding of the subject is essential for my professional activities.
