My daughter has struggled with math most of her education. Solid C+/B student. Math just it not her thing. My daughter is hoping that this will be her last math class ever (Business Calculus with Applications). Her goal is just to pass the class. Valerie is amazing, patient, and willing to do what it takes to help those who are struggling. Her tone and demeanor are nurturing. She is positive and encouraging. She understands that in order to help, you have to back up and meet the student where they are before moving forward, stacking new material on top of what a student may not be understand. My daughter left her first session with Valerie encouraged and hopeful, and independently booked a few more sessions before her next unit test. Valerie is a gem!
