Hi, my name is Daniel, and I am a math and test preparation expert with over fifteen years of tutoring experience. I hold a Master's degree in Statistics and specialize in Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, and Statistics. My passion for teaching math began at Westview High School, where I volunteered as an after-school tutor. Witnessing students grow and achieve their academic goals has been incredibly rewarding. I strive to empower students to become independent learners by building confidence in mastering challenging material. Through positive feedback, encouragement, and a tailored teaching approach that respects each student’s unique learning style, I help foster strong study habits that serve them well throughout their academic careers and beyond.

Outside the classroom, I live in the Carmel Valley neighborhood of San Diego and enjoy swing dancing, live music, and reading about science and history.

Knowledgeable and very patient.

I told him to treat me as a high school student who doesn't have any knowledge or learned Statistics, and he did just that. Gauge my skill first by asking me to read the problems and tell him how will I approach it, and then patiently walk me thru with no rush at all. At the end of the session he gave me some recommendation to shore up the knowledge I have reacquired. I will recommend him to others who will need help.

Quick progress

Are son was sinking quick! At times,I was able to get him to recover, but this was different (no passion). Daniel related to my student and in an introduction day and 2 lessons in integrated 1B he has made a 25 point jump on the Chapter 7 to 8 test. Daniel is very good with tablet and bringing in 3-minute videos. He related to my student and took the Math yuk/fog out of my students head.
