Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (Business Marketing)
University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill (Master's)
I'm a San Diego native and an education administration professional. Outside of my regular work hours, I enjoy tutoring so that I can work with students in a more academic capacity. My goal as a tutor is to help improve your skills in a subject area that you may be struggling in, prepare to succeed on a test, or simply provide extra practice and guidance in a subject you enjoy.
I have earned a Masters degree in European Political Science, a Bachelors degree in Business Marketing, as well as minors in Spanish and Psychology. During my studies, I studied abroad in Italy for 2 semesters and in Prague for one semester. Through studying abroad, I learned that I am passionate about international cultures, languages, and politics. From these experiences, my tutoring specialties are foreign languages and humanities/social studies, though I can help with English and Business courses as well.
Note: If you are interested in Portuguese tutoring, please note that I speak European Portuguese. However, I am happy to help you study Brazilian Portuguese.
Being a San Diego native, I have been exposed to the Spanish language most of my life. I have studied Spanish since the 8th grade and earned a Spanish minor in college.
I studied European Political Science for my Masters degree, which I found very valuable in terms of better understanding how the world works politically and economically. I genuinely enjoy this topic and can help you on various history and humanities subjects.
My base rate is only $40 and I can travel to you. I prefer to tutor wherever you feel most comfortable, whether that be in your home or in a public setting, such as a library or coffee shop. Hey!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
