I have been teaching Physics for the past 5 years and I truly love it. Before that, I tutored it for 4 years. In college I chose Physics as my major because I enjoyed it and it made sense to me. I decided to tutor it because I wanted others to see the same things. My goal, still, is to show my students that Physics is not hard and can be fun to learn. There is no surprise why this gentleman's name is "Newton"! He is the most amazing tutor my teenagers have had in AP Chemistry, AP Physics, and Advanced Calculus courses. He not only helped bring their grades up from a "B" back to an "A" in just a couple lessons, but has made them understand the fundamentals of the subjects (which is MOST important!) and enjoy them! I am what is termed "the young old." 55+ years in age. I am applying for college and have felt quite intimidated in taking entrance exams, especially the math section. I'm writing to update my review. The below entry was from a year ago. We rehired Newton to help my son review for the math portion of the NASVAB test! I don't know what my son would do without Newton for Algebra II! Some people can teach and some can't. Newton explains things in a manner my son can understand. Newton is a Wonderful Algebra - Math -Tutor!!!
Newton is ALWAYS on time, is so patient and doesn't move on to the next step till my son understands. He has helped my son regain his confidence which is priceless!
