GMAT (790) and LSAT (179) Teacher For Over 25 Years
I've taught the GMAT and LSAT for over two decades. Like many tutors, I've earned high scores on those tests, but my teaching experience is what sets me apart. Nothing can substitute for the know-how that comes from years of working with all kinds of students on every part of the test. Whatever problems you're facing, I've helped others overcome them before. I know how to communicate dynamically and effectively, so that you can learn the substance and the skills that will help you succeed...

Gets You To Where You Need To Be
When I first started working with Peter for LSAT prep, I had already gotten an objectively good score - above a 160. However, I knew that wasn't where I wanted to be, so I began my sessions hoping to push my score into the 170+ range. With the LSAT, every point and every detail counts for so much more when pushing for higher scores, and Peter was always on top of every detail; even when I had a concept 90% of the way there, he was able to pick up on the 10% I was missing to give me a full understanding of the question and why I missed it. I worked consistently with Peter for months and, while there were some road bumps on the way, I saw consistent progress: after about a month of working together, I broke the 170 mark on a practice test. Eventually, 170+ scores became the norm, and anything below that was abnormal for my performance. Even after factoring in the seven or so tests I took before working with Peter, my average score over 60+ tests was almost a 171. When it comes to any performance, you don't rise to the occasion - you fall back on your day in, day out training. My consistent work with Peter is why I scored in the range I needed to come test day, and his eye for detail and thorough understanding of the material is why I improved consistently during our time working together. I know that Peter can help you get those extra 10 points, regardless of where your baseline is. Thanks Peter, appreciate all the help.

Your search for a tutor has ended.
It would be very difficult to find an LSAT tutor more dialed in to the preparation for the Law School Admissions Test than Peter. Peter has an incredibly strong grasp on the core skills that make a difference on the LSAT, and is excellent at knowing when and how to teach those skills to you. Without Peter I would not have scored in the 92 percentile on the LSAT, period. While the other test prep materials allowed me to get a grasp on the LSAT, Peter's tutoring is what allowed me to see the material from an entirely different perspective and take my abilities to the next level. As as soon as you have your first lesson with him you will understand the level of experience that Peter brings to tutoring, and if you are serious test preparation, I couldn't recommend him more.

Helped Me Get a Great Score
Peter helped me to get a great score on the GMAT. We focused on the verbal section of the exam. When we went over questions that I had answered incorrectly or found confusing, he gave detailed explanations that cleared up any confusion. Moreover, he also taught me about broader concepts that helped me to understand what to look for when answering questions. Also, his teaching style was not too rigid; he was able to adapt to my needs. Overall, I enjoyed my time with him and I am satisfied with the results that he helped me to achieve.

Extremely Knowledgeable and Effective Communicator
Peter has basically had to reteach me everything I thought I learned from a mass market program. I very much appreciate the amount of completely useful information that he give you for free with his first 3 hour lesson (at least 5 things that I could use to improve my score immediately). He has his program down and has mastered how to teach it to other. Warning, there is homework! I have booked weekly lessons with him - he is very much worth the investment.

Knows His Stuff
Peter taught me a way to check my answers to make sure they are correct that my prep course did not. He is extremely helpful and makes sure you understand every step of the way.

Great Tutor!
Peter is an excellent tutor who explains the material in a clear and succinct manner. We met at a coffee shop and went over math problems and concepts for a few hours a session over a couple days. He really prepared me for the GRE and gave me the confidence to succeed!
