Hi! My name is Catalina and I’m a senior at San Diego State University pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing with a 3.8 GPA. I have a strong academic background in English and math, including three years of AP coursework and successful AP exams in subjects such as Calculus BC, English Literature, Microeconomics, and World History. I have one year of experience tutoring elementary students and 3 years of experience working with children ages 2–18 as a dance coach, where I gained experience creating lesson plans and adapting my teaching style to different ages and learning needs. I specialize in elementary through high school English and math, as well as business and marketing subjects, supported by my college coursework and three marketing internships.
My goal is to make challenging material easier to understand in a patient, encouraging, and approachable environment. Tutoring and coaching has given me incredible insight into how young adults especially learn and grow in school.
