Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from San Diego State University before completing my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at the University of California, San Diego, where I became a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. I currently practice as an Oncology Nurse Practitioner, providing evidence-based care to patients with complex cancer diagnoses. My education and clinical experience have given me a strong foundation in advanced pathophysiology, pharmacology, patient assessment, oncology, and evidence-based practice.

Teaching has always been an important part of my career. I am a Certified Nurse Educator and have also a Certified Diabetes Educator, helping educate patients, nursing students, nurse practitioner students, new graduate nurses, and healthcare professionals. My teaching experience includes one-on-one mentoring, clinical instruction, and precepting learners in patient assessment, clinical reasoning, and professional practice. I enjoy helping students build confidence while mastering complex concepts and applying them in real-world clinical settings.

My tutoring approach is interactive, personalized, and focused on each student's goals. I use clinical case studies and practical examples to simplify difficult topics and strengthen critical-thinking skills.
