I am a junior at Princeton University, where I have a 3.9 GPA and study philosophy and psychology and have developed strong analytical, writing, and problem-solving skills. Through my academic background, I have gained extensive experience in critical reading, argumentative writing, mathematics, and standardized test preparation. In addition to my university coursework, I have completed advanced high school and college-level classes in mathematics, English, and the humanities, which enables me to tutor students across a variety of subjects.
I have tutored dozens of students of the past 7 years, working with students ranging from elementary school through high school. I have tutored both privately and through online tutoring platforms, providing one-on-one instruction tailored to each student's learning style and academic goals. I specialize in tutoring English, math, Hebrew, and essay writing, including college essay writing. Additionally, I received a 1580 on the SAT, and enjoy helping students increase their SAT score through improving their English and math skills.
My teaching approach emphasizes patience, clear communication, and individualized instruction. I believe students learn best when concepts are broken down into manageable steps and connected to examples they can understand. During tutoring sessions, I assess each student's strengths and areas for growth, then adapt my explanations and practice activities accordingly. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop the skills and confidence necessary for long-term academic success.
