My name is Matthew, and I am passionate about helping students grow, succeed, and build confidence in their learning journey. I have hands-on experience supporting students’ development through my role in the classroom, where I created an organized and engaging environment that encouraged both creativity and academic progress. I have taught foundational subjects such as English literacy, mathematics, and science, using interactive methods like storytelling, educational games, and hands-on activities. I also provided individualized and small-group support, adapting lessons to meet each student’s unique needs.
Building strong, positive relationships with students and maintaining open communication with families has always been an important part of my approach, ensuring that every learner feels supported both in and out of the classroom.
My teaching philosophy centers on patience, encouragement, and making learning enjoyable. I believe that when students feel comfortable and motivated, they are more willing to take risks and grow academically. I am comfortable working with students of all age groups and take pride in adapting my teaching style to fit each learner’s pace and goals.
