I am a STEM-focused high school student with a strong academic background in mathematics, including coursework through Calculus III and Linear Algebra. I earned a 5 on the AP Calculus BC exam and a 36 on the ACT Math section, reflecting both advanced preparation and strong problem-solving ability. Through my studies, I have developed a deep understanding of math as well as a genuine passion for helping others learn. I bring logical reasoning, clear communication, and patience into every session, with a focus on helping students understand why math works rather than simply memorizing steps.

I have experience tutoring peers through Canyon Crest Academy's peer tutoring program, where I worked one-on-one with classmates to review homework, explain challenging concepts, and prepare for coursework. This experience taught me how to adapt explanations to different learning styles and adjust the pace of lessons based on each student's needs. I have worked primarily with middle school and high school students and enjoy helping students strengthen both understanding and confidence.

My tutoring approach is supportive, personalized, and step by step. In a typical session, I identify areas of difficulty, review concepts clearly, and practice problems together while gradually building independent problem-solving skills. I tutor elementary math, pre-algebra, algebra, trigonometry, precalculus, and calculus, including students seeking summer review, skill reinforcement, or enrichment before the next school year. I will be available to begin tutoring starting June 15, and I welcome students and families to reach out to learn more or schedule lessons.
