She is trained in various remediation strategies to support struggling readers and brings a deep understanding of structured, evidence based reading instruction to every session.
At a learning center in La Jolla, Mia works one on one with students who have diverse learning profiles, including dyslexia, dysgraphia, auditory processing disorder, ADHD, and autism. She supports middle school students across core subjects including math, English, and social studies. She also provides virtual academic coaching for high school students in English, social studies, and the humanities.
In addition, Mia prepares students for competitive private school admissions. She offers targeted instruction for the High School Placement Test HSPT and the ISEE for students applying to private middle and high schools. Her approach combines skill development, strategic test taking techniques, and confidence building to help students perform at their highest potential.
