I completed my undergraduate education at UCLA and am currently a fourth-year medical student at the UC San Diego School of Medicine, where I am applying into urology this year. My academic background includes extensive coursework in english, mathematics, biology and microbiology and anatomy, as well as standardized test preparation through the MCAT, college prep. This training allows me to tutor students not only in subject content, but also in how to approach complex material efficiently and strategically.

I have primarily worked as a one-on-one tutor, which has shaped my individualized teaching style. My tutoring experience includes volunteering with School on Wheels, where I supported K-12 students in math and core academic subjects, as well as private tutoring in personal statement writing and K-12 mathematics. I have also worked closely with college and pre-medical students on coursework support and application-related mentoring. In addition, I have experience guiding students through college applications and pre-med preparation, including personal statement development and overall academic planning.

My tutoring approach focuses on building strong conceptual foundations while tailoring sessions to each student’s learning style, goals, and timeline. I emphasize clarity, active problem-solving, and test-taking strategy rather than rote memorization. Whether working with younger students who need confidence and structure, or college and pre-medical students preparing entry exams, I aim to create an supportive environment that helps students become more independent and confident learners.
