I’m an Industrial and Systems Engineer with nearly 20 years of experience across engineering, technology, finance, and education. I currently work as an English Language Learner instructional assistant, where I help students build confidence, master academic content, and reach measurable learning goals through structured, personalized support.
Working with me is collaborative, patient, and goal-focused. I meet students where they are, break down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps, and adapt my teaching style to how each student learns best. Whether we’re working on English language development, math and science concepts, or computer science and engineering fundamentals, I focus on building both understanding and confidence.
I use data and progress tracking to guide instruction, adjust strategies, and ensure steady improvement. This approach has helped my students achieve strong outcomes, including high rates of language reclassification and improved academic performance. I’m especially effective with students who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of their abilities—I help them see that learning is a skill they can develop.
I do an excellent job because I combine technical expertise with empathy, structure with flexibility, and high standards with encouragement. My goal is always the same: to help students understand the “why,” not just the answer, and to leave each session feeling more confident than when they started.
