I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and have over 20 years of teaching and tutoring experience in physics and mathematics. My background includes working in university laboratory environments and teaching students at the high school, college, and adult levels.

Throughout my teaching experience, I have helped students understand core concepts in Algebra I, Algebra II, and introductory college-level math and physics. I focus on building strong foundations, breaking down complex ideas into simple, understandable steps, and helping students gain confidence in their problem-solving skills.

My tutoring style is patient, structured, and student-centered. I adapt my explanations based on each student’s learning style and pace, ensuring they truly understand the material rather than just memorizing formulas. I especially enjoy helping students who feel anxious about math regain confidence and see improvement in their performance.

I have experience working one-on-one with students as well as guiding learners in academic settings. I am comfortable tutoring high school students, college students, and adult learners, and I am particularly interested in online tutoring.

My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them develop a deeper understanding and long-term confidence in math and physics.

Algebra 1

I have extensive experience teaching Algebra 1 concepts such as linear equations, inequalities, factoring, and word problems in a clear and structured way. I focus on building strong foundations by breaking down each topic step by step and adapting my explanations to each student’s learning style. My approach emphasizes understanding why formulas work, not just memorizing them. I help students gain confidence, improve grades, and develop long-term problem-solving skills.
Algebra 2

Algebra 2

I have strong experience teaching Algebra 2 concepts such as quadratic functions, polynomials, exponential and logarithmic functions, systems of equations, and inequalities. I focus on helping students understand the underlying ideas rather than memorizing formulas, so they can apply concepts with confidence. My teaching style is patient, structured, and adapted to each student’s learning pace. I help students strengthen problem-solving skills, improve grades, and feel more confident in math.
Calculus

Calculus

I have strong experience teaching Calculus concepts including limits, derivatives, integrals, and their applications. I help students understand the intuition behind calculus rather than memorizing rules, which builds long-term understanding. My teaching approach is clear, step-by-step, and adapted to each student’s learning style. I support students in improving problem-solving skills, exam performance, and overall confidence in calculus.
Physics

Physics

I have extensive experience teaching physics, including mechanics, electricity and magnetism, waves, optics, and modern physics. I focus on building strong conceptual understanding alongside problem-solving skills. With years of hands-on lab and teaching experience, I help students connect theory to real-world applications. My approach is patient, structured, and tailored to each student’s learning style to improve confidence and academic success.
Trigonometry

Trigonometry

I have strong expertise in trigonometry, including trigonometric functions, identities, unit circle, and right triangle applications. I help students understand concepts such as sine, cosine, tangent, and their relationships rather than memorizing formulas. My teaching style focuses on clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving, and visual understanding. I support students in improving grades, confidence, and long-term mathematical skills.
