Hi, I’m Brian! I have a Ph.D. in physics and over five years of experience as a graduate teaching assistant at UC San Diego. In that role, I led discussion and problem-solving sessions, held office hours, and graded coursework for a wide range of undergraduate physics classes. My teaching was consistently well received, and in 2023 I was given the Distinguished Senior Graduate Teaching Award from the department for my commitment to student learning.

I especially enjoy working one-on-one with students, where I can directly identify where they may be struggling and help them build confidence. My approach is to guide students through example problems by breaking them down into clear, manageable steps. This method not only develops strong problem-solving skills but also deepens understanding of the underlying concepts in math and physics.
