I received my Ph.D. in 2017 and have been deeply involved in teaching and mentoring ever since. I served as a professor at Yonsei University in Korea before moving to the United States, where I worked as a project scientist at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) from 2020 to 2025. My academic and research experiences span molecular biology, biomedical engineering, and transnational science, and I am currently working in the biotechnology industry. Throughout this journey, I have remained passionate about education, particularly in supporting students who are navigating their academic and career paths.

Since 2017, I have provided bioscience and career development lectures on platforms such as Enago and Science Academic Field, reaching learners both online and in person. My teaching experience extends over 10 years, beginning with tutoring elementary through high school students during my college years. I currently serve as a volunteer Korean language and career development teacher for middle school students at a local church. My approach is highly adaptive—whether helping younger learners build a foundation or guiding aspiring professionals on their academic journeys in the U.S., I tailor lessons to the individual’s level and goals.

My background as a scientist and educator allows me to bring real-world insight and structured learning methods to each session. Whether students are seeking to improve their Korean language skills, understand complex scientific concepts, or prepare for future academic or career opportunities, I am committed to providing practical and personalized support.
