Engineer-Turned-Educator: Making Tech Concepts Click

With Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (1997 - 2001), I have a strong foundation in core subjects such as Assembly Language, Binary Mathematics, Computer Architecture, and Advanced Calculus—all.

I have completed graduate-level coursework in Computer Engineering at the University of Southern California (2002 - 2004), where I studied advanced topics such as Computer Architecture, Distributed Systems, and Computer Networks.

With over 16 years of hands-on experience as a full-stack software engineer, I bring deep technical knowledge and real-world context into every tutoring session.

I’ve mentored college seniors in one-on-one setting, guiding them through projects in Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. This was to help them complete their final year hands on projects.

Beyond one-on-one tutoring, I’ve also taught in classroom environments to new college grad, many of whom were career changers from non IT backgrounds.

I developed and delivered beginner-friendly modules in Core Python and Data Engineering, incorporating real-world datasets, Pandas, and SQL to ensure hands-on, job-relevant learning.

Learning is most effective when it’s accessible and convenient—and platforms like Wyzant are doing an incredible job of bringing quality education to everyone. I’m passionate about working at the intersection of technology and education, and it would be a privilege to continue that journey as a Wyzant tutor.
