I am passionate about the intersection between STEM and the arts, and how the different ways of thinking required for each create a more well-rounded student. I bring this idea to my sessions to introduce new ways of thinking about a difficult topic to improve student understanding.
My tutoring sessions encourage students to form a strong understanding of the content, while I provide guidance to help them learn in a way that suits them best. In a typical session, I allow students to make decisions about what they want to work on, and I provide resources and helpful explanations to improve understanding. Every session is personalized to the student and their specific needs.
