I am a classicist educated in Madrid, Spain. I moved to California in 1986 to get a PhD in Comparative Literature. I graduated in 1992 with a dissertation on the Hellenistic poet Apollonius of Rhodes.
I taught Latin for 9 years at Mesa Community College and I have been teaching Latin and Greek for 25 years at the University of San Diego (where I also teach Spanish). I work with students of the Franciscan School of Theology in Biblical Greek and with USD students in Classical Latin and Greek.
