Hello, I am a UC Berkeley Bachelor's in Mathematics and UCSD Master's in Data Science graduate passionate about helping students learn math. At an early age, I found tutoring students in math a rewarding challenge that inspires me to continue helping others learn math.

I have 7 years of experience tutoring all ranges of math levels, from elementary to college students. During my undergraduate years at UC Berkeley, I took courses in teaching and tutoring, and I specialized in tutoring college level trigonometry, calculus and statistics. I learned different methods for helping students learn the vast difficult concepts in math and statistics as well as adapting to each student's learning abilities to ensure effective learning methods. I focus heavily on minimizing the gaps in a student's math abilities for them to succeed and prosper in their math courses. My job as a tutor is to make sure I can help students with not just their math abilities but make them confident in their math abilities, critical thinking and logical reasoning.

I tutored for the UC Berkeley Student Learning Center and worked for after school math and coding programs at elementary schools where we focused on teaching students from underprivileged schools math and foundations of basic programming. Having experienced tutoring a wide variety of students with different backgrounds, I noticed patterns and gaps in what leads to students struggling in learning math. I believe math is a subject that anyone can have talent in, but requires discipline, critical thinking and most importantly, a great teacher.
