I am a retired engineer with 35 years of Engineering R&D experience. I have had a lifelong passion for teaching and have mentored a few students in my free time over the years, some of whom have made it to MIT and such, with prestigious scholarships. Having recently retired from an active professional career, I look forward to spending my next few years helping students with various aptitude-profiles and skill-levels develop their abilities to the fullest — do so at their own individual pace, while achieving the level of success they have always dreamed of.
I am a creative and compassionate teacher, who appreciates the difficulties students may face while grasping difficult concepts. I am good at explaining abstract concepts in a manner that is easy to understand, and apply. I am also kind, patient and accessible to my students. I have myself faced learning challenges in areas outside my core strength; so I tend to be kind, patient and empathetic with my students, who need a helping hand with subjects they are yet to develop confidence in. I ensure that my students derive maximum benefit from my teaching, as they learn in a safe, friendly and nurturing environment.
I am more interested in providing value to my students, than in maximizing my revenue from teaching. Most students who have taken lessons from me have found it a very enjoyable and fruitful experience. I shall strive to deliver the same experience to each one of you.
