I have been a teacher at a public middle school for 20 years and am well-versed in Chinese literature, culture, and the arts. I understand teenage psychology and often incorporate students' hobbies and interests into my classes. I have taught Mandarin for over 6 years and have logged more than 9,800 tutoring hours, working with students aged 5 to 18, as well as adults.
