Hello! I’m passionate about helping students gain confidence and curiosity in coding and math. With six years of tutoring and teaching experience, I specialize in helping students build strong foundations in both STEM and computer science. Hello! I’m passionate about helping students gain confidence and curiosity in coding and math. With six years of tutoring and teaching experience, I specialize in helping students build strong foundations in both STEM and computer science. I currently teach coding in an after-school program for students ages 6–18, where we explore programming and computer science concepts through hands-on, project-based learning. My lessons include private 1:1 or semi-private 2:1 sessions, using tools such as Scratch, Python, Java, C#, and the Unity Engine.
Previously, I spent three years tutoring mathematics at the San Diego Miramar College tutoring center and with private clients. I’ve supported students across a wide range of subjects, including beginner to advanced algebra, statistics, trigonometry, pre-calculus, differential and integral calculus (Calculus I and II), multivariable calculus (Calculus III), linear algebra, and discrete math.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Cognitive Science with an Emphasis in AI and Computer Science from UC Berkeley and an Associate’s Degree in Mathematics from San Diego Miramar College. I also completed graduate-level coursework in Natural Language Processing and Natural Language Understanding at Stanford University through their Artificial Intelligence Professional Program.
