Hello! My name is Brandon. I received my Undergraduate at the University of San Diego where I studied Economics. I spend the majority of my time tutoring Advanced Mathematics and AP level. I love Probability and Statistics especially tutoring! I also have experience tutoring young children in communities in South America. I spend some of my time substituting in classrooms in San Diego California and tutoring in person. I draw from this wide variety of experiences to help students view how they themselves can apply what they learned in the classroom to the real world, especially to those that are interested in statistics and data science. . My teaching style is highly adaptive to the students' needs, whether it would be covering homework problems by hand or visualizing data using Tableau. During the lessons, I find ways to motivate the topic that the students want to cover and help them view problems from multiple perspectives. When desired, I love to give Crash Courses on a subject before going into apply what we are learning with a student. What I love about tutoring is that it allows both the student and me to exchange ideas and problem-solve. I encourage students to be creative and imaginative in their thinking so that when they come across another problem, they know that they have the tools to solve it.
