Hello! I'm Ethan, an experienced and passionate math teacher, holding a Master's degree from the University of California, San Diego, and over 10 years of teaching experience. Currently, I am enriching young minds as an educator at a local high school in San Diego and as an instructor at the Art of Problem Solving Academy in San Diego.

My teaching expertise includes Integrated Math (Levels 1, 2, 3), Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, AP Precalculus, AP Calculus AB & BC, AP Statistics, Probability Theory, AMC & AIME Contest Math, Intro to Proofs, Symbolic Logic, Linear Algebra, Group Theory, Multivariable Calculus, Differential Equations, and Real Analysis.

Beyond the classroom, I have contributed to the field of mathematics through research and writing. My scholarly work has been published in esteemed journals such as the Journal of Statistics and Management Science. Furthermore, I am a content author for the College Board, where I write lessons for the SpringBoard textbooks currently published by the College Board.

My approach to tutoring is personalized and student-centered. I believe that each student has unique learning needs and deserves a tailored approach to help them understand and appreciate mathematics.
