Hi, I’m Haven! I’m a junior at UCSB, majoring in Psychological and Brain Sciences. I specialize in ACT and SAT test prep, Chemistry and Mandarin. I'm a native speaker of Mandarin, earned a 5 in AP Chemistry and became an AP Scholar with Distinction. I also scored a 35 on my ACT.

He consistently demonstrates patience, attentiveness, and a genuine commitment to his students' learning. One of the things we appreciate most is how he adapts his teaching approach based on the students’ mood, engagement, and interests during class. Our son is naturally introverted and has never shown much enthusiasm for learning Chinese. However, since joining Haven’s class, we’ve seen a remarkable change. He’s become more relaxed, cheerful, and—most importantly—motivated to learn. He even gave Mr. Wang a perfect score of 10 out of 10! Excellent Honors Chemistry tutor
Haven has been an excellent tutor for my daughter in Honors Chem. It’s such a small world that my daughter happens to be studying at the same high school that Haven graduated.
