Throughout my educational journey, I’ve been passionate about both learning and teaching, particularly in the field of mathematics. I graduated from High School with a 4.2 GPA and earned the Seal of Biliteracy, then went on to complete my Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies with a Mathematics concentration at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, graduating in 2024.
My teaching experiences have been varied and rewarding. For four years, I worked as a Camp Invention Counselor, teaching children from 1st to 6th grade how to think creatively, problem-solve, and collaborate. In the summer of 2023, I guided students at College For Kids, a STEM-focused program where I helped create a balance between engaging classroom lessons and a fun, camp-like atmosphere. I also gained valuable experience as a substitute teacher in both Capistrano Unified and San Dieguito Unified School Districts, adapting to different classrooms and student needs. In addition to this, I tutored at an Elementary School and volunteered in a 5th-grade classroom up in San Luis Obispo, offering academic support and helping students reach their potential.
On top of all that over the past four years I have been tutoring students grade 1-12 on the side to further gain experience in this field. Each of these roles has deepened my love for education and strengthened my commitment to fostering growth and curiosity in students of all ages.
