I specialize in early literacy skills including phonics, decoding, reading fluency, and comprehension. I also support students with Common Core math concepts such as number sense, addition and subtraction strategies, and problem solving. Because I work in the classroom every day, I’m very familiar with the expectations students face and the skills they need to be successful.
My goal during tutoring sessions is to make learning feel approachable, encouraging, and engaging. I meet students where they are, break down concepts in ways that make sense to them, and help them build confidence along the way.
