When I was in college I tutored for a program called TRIO. I worked in student supportive service as an English tutor. At that time I had about 5 students, 2 were ESL students. I enjoyed reading their stories and essays that were assigned by their professors. I helped students become more confident in their writing. My students improved their grades by a letter; I was always happy help.

I love tutoring because I like motivating young people towards their goals. Tutoring can really help clear up confusion when students don’t fully understand an assignment or a particular concept. I enjoy finding out that my students are getting good grades on their assignments. I want my students not to feel alone, and understand that everybody has been in that position. I really enjoy helping others.
During my time in college, I had to start at the bottom and work my way. I started my coursework in Basic Grammar all the way to British Literature. I have taken classes that had 5000-word writing requirements to pass the course. I passed a writing exam to move on to upper-level English courses.
I have a fondness of reading and writing in my leisure.
