Hello! My name is Monique, and I am a dedicated tutor with a strong background in secondary education and student-centered instruction. I am completing my Master’s degree in Secondary Education once my student teaching requirements are complete, and have completed over 600 hours of student observation, working closely with experienced teachers to understand effective instructional strategies, classroom dynamics, and differentiated learning. I also completed one month of student teaching to date, where I worked directly with high school and middle students to support lessons, reinforce academic concepts, and provide individualized guidance. These experiences helped me develop a strong foundation in supporting students at different skill levels and learning styles.
In addition to my classroom training, I have experience as a traveling corporate instructor, teaching learners across multiple locations and states and adapting instruction to meet diverse needs. This role strengthened my ability to explain material clearly, stay organized, and adjust my approach based on how a student learns best. As a tutor, I focus on building confidence, strengthening foundational skills, and helping students truly understand the “why” behind the material.
