Nice to meet you! My name is Ashley, and I'm from sunny California. I graduated from UCLA with degrees in English and Education Studies. I am pursuing my English masters at UCI and concurrently receiving my teaching credential for secondary education.

I have 4+ years of editorial experience in the publishing industry as a writer, copy editor, and marketer. My personal publications include research articles, news articles, opinion columns, fashion blogs, and creative nonfiction.

I also have 5+ years of instructional experience teaching ESL and English literature to K - adult students. I have helped counsel undergraduate and graduate applicants from the U.S. and abroad. My students pursue various fields such as film, engineering, art, and business administration. I have met (in-person and online) students from Japan, Korea, China, Singapore, and I can't wait to meet you—wherever you are!

My editing and writing lessons will be self-contained, meaning we will complete the comprehensive editing process (grammar, vocabulary, structure) or writing process (brainstorm, thesis statement, outline) in a single lesson. You are encouraged to book additional lessons if you'd like multiple rounds of edits.
