Hi, my name is Chris! I bring a strong academic foundation and years of tutoring experience to every session, helping students build confidence and succeed across a wide range of subjects. I graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business with a dual degree in Accounting and Finance, and later earned a Master’s in Financial Economics from Boston University. Along the way, I discovered how much I enjoy teaching complex material in ways that feel approachable and practical.
During college, I served as a Teaching Assistant for business statistics, teaching weekly classes of over 30 students and holding office hours for one-on-one guidance. This sharpened my ability to break down quantitative concepts, which has been invaluable in tutoring statistics, finance, and accounting. I began tutoring accounting early in my studies and have since worked with learners at every level—from students in introductory classes to professionals preparing for the CPA exam.
As a CPA who averaged a 93 across all four exam sections, I understand how to approach preparation with both strategy and discipline. I’ve guided many CPA candidates by providing subject expertise, study structure, and exam-taking techniques. My teaching also extends to Microsoft Excel, SAT Math, and applied problem-solving. Having scored a perfect 800 on the SAT Math section, I enjoy helping students simplify difficult problems into clear, logical steps that build confidence.
