I started teaching RN students in 2020 and FNP students in 2021; I teach at several prominent nursing schools in the San Francisco Bay Area. My teaching experience ranges from RN student clinicals, precepting and teaching NP students and new grad residents, and conducting CMEs for our group of NPs, RNs, and physicians. I also tutored through undergrad and grad school, starting in 2006 until getting my MSN in 2019.
Because I consider my strength to be teaching at the bedside and with learners seeing or talking about patients, I focus on a case based approach. This helps prepare you for your oral boards and national certification, which has many case-based vignettes. Additionally I cover necessary material from your theory courses to better apply concepts to patient care.
