I am passionate about helping students in the classroom. I am a qualified Advanced Certified Tutor and I have completed the College Reading and Learning Association: International Tutor Training Program Certification. I have one year of experience working as an internationally certified college tutor while conducting professional one-on-one tutoring sessions with students enrolled in undergraduate Math and English courses at Mount San Antonio College. I developed my passion for teaching during my role as the Model United Nations (MUN) President at the International School of Dhaka, I created written articles for the first official MUN guidebook and taught workshops on conference procedures.
Furthermore, during my two years of experience as a math and science primary school teacher at the Bedford Stuyvesant Collegiate Charter School, I analyzed student needs and created course materials and exercises to make the content more accessible to General Education students, Special Education students, and English Language Learners from international countries. I also provided a positive virtual learning experience when utilizing interactive video-conferencing tools during the pandemic to instill confidence in students and encourage students to persevere through challenges.
