I'm a father of three, and have been an educator for many years. My bachelor's degree was in English and History, while my Master's and Ph.D. degrees were in Biology. I have taught biology and biological anthropology at the college level, including at UC Riverside. For Montessori students, I have taught interactive astronomy, astrophysics, planetary science, astrobiology, and early colonial American history and cultural interactions between Europeans and Native Americans.

My philosophy of education involves enticing interest in students through relevance and empathy, as well as interactive activities. And also I proceed by relating what they are learning to their dreams in life!
