During my graduate education I had the privilege of being a Teaching Assistant and Primary Instructor in 23 college-level courses. As a result, I have logged many rewarding hours teaching and helping students learn subjects in history and the humanities while writing successful papers. I am a historian of religions specializing in the late ancient through early modern period, but as an unabashed history nerd of all historical periods, my favorite tutoring jobs have been in World, European, and US history. I have written a PhD dissertation, published articles, but I also take pride in demystifying the process of college-level writing for new undergraduates and college-bound high school students. I can help with college test preparation in developing effective reading strategies and building a vocabulary for the ACT and SAT.

I remember studying for the ACT, and the skills required for success in the English and reading sections. These are the same skills colleges look for in prospective students, and the skills I have been developing throughout my time as a student in the humanities and social sciences. I have worked with countless college students as a teaching assistant to help improve their writing.

I excelled on my AP US HIstory exam, have taken college-level courses in American history, I am obsessed with history knowledge. I worked with several students in AP history courses, and helped them prepare for the AP World and European History exams.
I can help with high school Spanish; I have taken Spanish through AP in high school in addition to a college level Spanish course.
