Approved Subjects

ACT Math

ACT Math

I never took the ACT but I took the SAT. The ACT is similar to the SAT. However, in my AVID class we were taught how to prepare for the ACT and SAT. I am sure that I will be able to reflect that knowledge on you or your student.
Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I'm pretty well rounded in Algebra 1. It plays into a lot of math that I deal with now, so it is really something that I understand and have had a lot of experience with.
Algebra 2

Algebra 2

Algebra 2 as well as Algebra 1 play a key role when you get into more advanced math. It's something I have had a lot of experience and practice with. And I will love to reflect everything I learned and know to help you or your student succeed!
Calculus

Calculus

Calculus is one of my favorite branches of Mathematics. I have a lot of experience in tutoring this subject. I'm very knowledgeable in both Single-Variable Calculus and Multi-variable Calculus. Have taken both of these courses simultaneously in the college level and have passed these with flying colors.
Differential Equations

Differential Equations

I am very well rounded in the area of Differential Equations. Took and passed the college course with flying colors. I have tutored in this subject before and helped students succeed. My major is in Mathematics and I plan on becoming a high school teacher.
Elementary Math

Elementary Math

I'm currently majoring in Mathematics at CSUSB and am sure that I can help your child in Elementary math. My education in math is very well rounded and I've also tutored various children in similar math at the local elementary school.
GED

GED

I'm not too shabby on the English part of the test, but for the math part, I'm your guy. If you need help in the math portion, I'm your guy.
Geometry

Geometry

I love Geometry. Geometry is a subject that I understand mainly because it is more visual then other math. In high school I got A's on all my exams. And I use to tutor people in this subject. But to be honest, I haven't done Geometry for awhile. But with a few moments to refresh my memory I'm sure that I will be able to meet your expectations.
Linear Algebra

Linear Algebra

I have completed and aced the Linear Algebra course at CSUSB with the average test/ quiz percentage of 98. I understand this type of Mathematics very well. I've done many proofs within this and have tutored fellow students in this course.
Prealgebra

Prealgebra

Prealgebra is a course of study that I will be very well at giving you direction and helping you learn. I comprehend the material correlating to Prealgebra very well.
Precalculus

Precalculus

I took precalculus during high school and I passed that class with an "A". Pre-calc is a subject which I am very comfortable teaching, I use to, in high school, tutor some of my classmates in my class that didn't understand it in class. I'm sure I will be able to meet all your or your students pre-calc needs.
SAT Math

SAT Math

In High School I was in AVID and we would help each other prepare for the SAT. I actually took the SAT and gained a lot of experience due to AVID and I will be able to reflect what I learned on to you or your student.
Trigonometry

Trigonometry

I never took an official trigonometry class, but I understand it because a lot of the math I do involves several of the trigonometric identities and functions dealt with in trigonometry. I'm sure I will be of great assistance in this subject.

Continuing To Be Great

We have had weekly tutoring sessions with Andrew now for approximately 2 months and we couldn't be more pleased. He is prompt, well prepared and thorough. Additionally, he has the needed something special required to reach high school students. I would highly recommend him.

Exceptional Tutor

Andrew has exceeded all expectations of a tutor, he goes beyond the call to ensure he can accomodate the student with tests and other requirements. He is an asset to the program.

Great Tutor

Andrew came to tutor for the first time, yesterday Sept. 19. He was very professional. He got lost, which is easy to do in my area, but he called right away. Otherwise he would have been on time. My son seemed to catch on to his techniques in fractions, which is where he is struggling. Andrew made it fun and the 2 hours went by very quickly. My 14 yr. old son didn't even complain. Thanks Andrew!
