I am a dedicated elementary educator with 25 years of teaching experience in the Corona-Norco Unified School District. Throughout my career, I have taught students in Kindergarten through 5th grade, and I currently teach Transitional Kindergarten (TK).
I hold a California teaching credential and a Master’s Degree in Education from California Baptist University in Riverside, California. I am well versed in the current California State Standards and curriculum and regularly participate in professional development focused on effective teaching practices, early childhood education, and evidence-based instructional strategies, including the Science of Reading.
Individualized Support for Your Child
As a classroom teacher, I understand firsthand how challenging it can be for teachers to provide the one-on-one attention that every child may need. Classroom teachers are responsible for meeting the needs of many students at once, and some children benefit tremendously from additional individualized instruction.
My goal as a tutor is to provide students with the skills, strategies, encouragement, and confidence they need to become more successful learners.
Experience With Diverse Learners
While I am not a special education teacher, I have extensive daily experience working with students who have developmental delays, are on the autism spectrum, or have other individual learning and support needs.

I understand that children learn in different ways and at different rates. I strive to meet each student where they are, identify their strengths and areas for growth, and create a supportive learning environment where they feel successful and encouraged.

I am currently accepting new students and families who are looking for an experienced elementary educator to provide individualized academic support.

Tutoring Rate: $75/hour
Minimum Commitment: 2 hours per week
