I have BA and MAT degrees in Mathematics, as well as a current teaching credential in mathematics. Throughout my career, I have helped students develop a stronger understanding of mathematical concepts, improve their problem-solving skills, and gain the confidence they need to pass tests and succeed in their middle school, high school, and college math courses.
I specialize in tutoring students in SAT Math, Finite Math, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Precalculus, College Algebra, and the CBEST exam. My goal is not simply to help students find the answer to a problem, but to help them understand the math concepts and processes behind each solution. I explain difficult topics in a clear, patient, and step-by-step manner and adjust my instruction to meet each student's individual learning needs.
